C.O. Mollenhour Conservation Camp

The CLCA will sponsor two young people to attend C.O. Mollenhour Conservation Camp this summer. One boy and one girl between the ages of 9-14 will be chosen to attend the conservation camp. Camp Mollenhour is located on 15 acres just west of Silver Lake, Indiana on McClures Lake. It was established in 1938 by the conservation clubs and lake associations in the local area to develop an environmental awareness in all who participate.

Camp activities available include, hunter and boater education certification administered by Indiana DNR Conservation Officers; ATV and tree stand safety training; learn to identify native Indiana wildlife; experience SCUBA and river rescue demonstrations; learn firearm and archery safety skills along with many other activities. The goal of the camp is to teach the principles of conservation to young people through instruction and experiences in a wilderness setting. For more information please visit:

2022 Camp Dates:

Boys Camp: July 10-15

Girls Camp: July 17-22

Campers must be 9-14 years old. Each camp is limited to the first 80 registrations and are on a first come, first serve basis.
