Please join us for our Independence Day Parade. The theme for 2025 will be “Favorite Cartoons”! Unleash your inner child by designing you entry to showcase your favorite cartoons. Whether it’s the classic Saturday morning cartoons from the ‘80s, beloved Looney Tunes characters, your child’s favorite shows from Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon, or even the latest Disney+ series, let your creativity shine. Entrants are encouraged to decorate their golf cart, UTV's, ATV's, or trailer with the 2025 theme. Classic cars and tractors are welcome. Lineup will begin at 5:30pm at the Chapman Lake Clubhouse with the parade beginning at 7:00pm. The route will begin at the clubhouse and travel Chapman Lake Drive from 300N to 450N. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Place winners and 4th, 5th and 6th place will receive a gift.
In the event of rain the parade will be rescheduled.
Please join us for the 9th annual lake-wide garage sale scheduled for Friday, June 13th and Saturday, June 14th. Suggested hours are Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Property owners are welcome to establish their own hours at their discretion. The CLCA will provide advertising in the Times-Union, The-Paper and Inkfreenews.com. There is no charge for participating. This year the CLCA will not be providing maps marked with participants address or items for sale. There will be signage advertising around the lake; however, participants will be responsible for marking their own homes.

This event focuses on cleaning the building, inside and out, making small repairs around the clubhouse, and maintaining any site that the CLCA is responsible for. Chapman Lakes Conservation Association is hosting a Youth Boater Education Course March 1st, 6pm-8pm & March 2nd, 8am-12pm. Join us for this 2 day course at the Chapman Lake clubhouse located at 3019 N 325 E, Warsaw, IN 46582. The course is open to any youth 11yrs-17yrs old. The course will be instructed by a DNR officer. Pizza will be provided March 1st & snacks on March 2nd. The course will provide instruction in general information concerning boats and maintenance, what to do in emergencies, how to make your experience safe and enjoyable, and the laws pertaining to watercraft operation. Chapman Lakes Ecotour
The Chapman Lakes Conservation Association and the Lilly Center invite you on an Ecotour Expedition of the Chapman Lakes in July. Monday, July 10th 7:00pm - Dusk.
You can join the tour with your friends or family from the safety of your own boat. Dr. Nate Bosch will narrate the tour, and it will be broadcast on an FM radio station for your listening comfort. You will be encouraged to text your own questions to him during the tour as well! Learn to see your lake in new ways as you explore the surface to the deepest depths and the largest to the smallest plants and animals living in the middle. Tour participants will learn about and even experience the lake food chain, the lake’s temperature layers, inflowing streams, surrounding wetlands, weeds and algae, and more. Come prepared to have fun, learn and win some prizes!
Please arrive early at the docks outside of Joel & Heather Wihebrink’s home at the point of Chapman Lake Park, 67 EMS C28G Lane to pick up your program and gift bag. Bring the entire family for this leisurely learning tour of Chapman Lakes. Each child will receive their own gift bag. Remember, you will need to be in a boat to participate in the tour. Be sure to pack your gear and join us for the expedition!
