2026 Chapman Lakes Independence Day Parade
The 10th Annual 4th of July Parade is Friday, July 3th at 7:00p.m. Break out your stars, stripes, and best party spirit—it’s time to celebrate like the Founding Fathers! You’re officially invited to our Independence Day Parade, where this year’s theme, “American Spirit,” honors the 250th birthday of the Declaration of Independence. Get creative with your ride: deck out your golf cart, UTV, ATV, trailer, or classic car in bold red, white, and blue streamers, wave those American flags high, and flash banners that shout “1776.” Go wild with Uncle Sam costumes, cover everything with stars and stripes, and add iconic touches like the Liberty Bell, bald eagles, or fireworks. The more over-the-top and nostalgic, the better—show off your patriotic flair and join us for a celebration you’ll never forget!
The excitement starts with the parade lineup at 5:30 PM at the Chapman Lake Clubhouse, and the parade takes off at 7:00 PM sharp! We’ll cruise down Chapman Lake Drive from 300N to 450N in a dazzling, all-American caravan. Want to win big? The top three entries will score amazing prizes, and there are cool gifts for 4th, 5th, and 6th place, too. Don’t miss the most spectacular, star-spangled bash of the year—see you there, ready to rock the red, white, and blue!
In the event of rain the parade will be rescheduled.
Also, we want to thank the Plain Township Fire Department for leading the parade, the Kosciusko County Sheriffs Department for their participation and the Times-Union for their coverage of the parade. Everyone loves a parade!

2026 Chapman Lake Pancake Breakfast
Start your Independence Day weekend with a bang at our star-spangled Pancake Breakfast! Celebrate with all-you-can-eat fluffy pancakes, eggs, and savory sausage—served up with plenty of patriotic cheer. Want to help make this red, white, and blue morning unforgettable? 2026 Chapman Lakes Fireworks
please do not shoot off fireworks July 1st if you are within the red circle to protect the fireworks team.
The 2026 Independence Day celebration will conclude with spectacular fireworks Saturday evening (July 4th) at dusk, approximately 10:00p.m. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, July 5th . For safety reasons, the CLCA requests boaters please keep a minimum of 600’ distance from the fireworks barges or the show will be stopped. The fireworks company has requested NO paper lanterns be launched Saturday and Clubhouse neighbors to please not ignite any fireworks from 10:30a.m. to 8:00p.m. Also, be courteous and stay away from the public boat launch from 7:00 to 8:00p.m. Saturday evening to allow the fireworks barges to be launched. There will be police presence at the boat launch during this time.
